Kors Twitterer Module for Niagara AX
Kors Engineering's Twitter Module gives controls systems running the Tridium NiagaraAX framework the ability to post tweets. Twitter has become a worldwide social networking tool for delivering short status updates. With this module, your control system can now post updates as well. The uses for the module are unlimited, basically any piece of information available in your control system can be used to create a tweet. Your facility could for example send out daily energy usage updates, statistics about equipment runtime hours or bypass/failure notifications. The module consists of three components, Change Tracker, Periodic Updater and New Status. With the Change Tracker extension, any Niagara point can post status update tweets upon change of value. The Periodic Updater extension will send tweets at defined time intervals for a point. The New Status object can be used to send any status string based upon an external event trigger. You can download the actual module using the "Free Trial" button. Without a software license, it can send ten tweets before deactivating.
